Call for help: (502) 640-5889Downed lines
If a power line is down
The Electrical Safety Foundation International (ESFI) reports that home electrical fires claim roughly 500 lives each year, electrocution another 400, with about 1,400 more people seriously injured — and an estimated $1.3 billion in property damage.
If tree limbs or debris have brought down electrical wires: stay at least 20 feet away and keep children and pets clear. If there's water nearby, stay as far away as possible. Always assume a power line is live and energized. Once you're safely away, call our 24-hour hotline at (502) 640-5889. Our skilled, trained, and licensed team will arrive to help remove the lines and return the area to safety.
Electrical fire
If there's an electrical fire
Never use water to fight an electrical fire — water conducts electricity and can put you in further danger. If the flames are small, use baking soda or a fire extinguisher rated for Class C (electrical) fires. If you can't put the flames out, get out immediately and call 9-1-1.
